About Us

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 is based on three pillars: a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation. It builds on the Kingdom's strengths and capabilities to support citizens in achieving their aspirations.

The first of the three pillars of Saudi Vision 2030, "A Vibrant Society," emphasizes the importance of a positive and attractive environment that provides the foundations for a quality of life for citizens and residents. At the same time, the Quality of Life Program, one of the programs implemented within Saudi Vision 2030, aims to improve the lifestyle of individuals and families and build a society where members enjoy a balanced lifestyle.

Based on the company founder's experience as an executive leader with over 33 years of diverse practical experience in the public and private sectors, in addition to the non-profit sector, AOAR Holding Company was established, along with three subsidiaries operating in influential and important sectors within the pillars of achieving Saudi Vision 2030:

  • Real Estate Development Sector
  • Tourism Sector

AORF Green Agricultural Company

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, launched the Green Riyadh Project in March 2019. This project is part of achieving one of the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to raise Riyadh's ranking among global cities. The project aims to increase the per capita green space in the city from the current 1.7 square meters to 28 square meters, and to increase the total green space in the city from the current 1.5% to 9%, equivalent to 541 square kilometers. This will be achieved by planting more than 7.5 million trees in Riyadh's neighborhoods and roads. In March 2021, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince announced the Green Saudi Arabia Initiative, which aims to increase vegetation cover, reduce carbon emissions, combat pollution and land degradation, and preserve marine life. This initiative includes planting 10 billion trees in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over the coming decades, thus increasing the area covered by trees to 12 times its current level. At the same time, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince launched the Green Middle East Initiative, which aims to plant an additional 40 billion trees in the GCC and Middle East, bringing the total of the two initiatives to 50 billion trees in the region, achieving 5% of the global target of planting one trillion trees. The impact of increased afforestation on all aspects of quality of life, whether livability, which means creating living conditions for a satisfying life, or lifestyle, which provides people with options for a pleasant and prosperous life, is unquestionable.

In our commitment to contributing to increasing the total percentage of green spaces through increased afforestation and the establishment of public parks and gardens, this contributes to improving air quality and lowering temperatures in the city, encouraging residents to adopt a more active and vibrant lifestyle, and providing a high-quality, healthy and recreational environment for their residents. This embodies the goal of Saudi cities becoming healthy and sustainable by achieving a balance between economic development and a protected environment. The Green Orf Company was established with the goal of producing 5 million environmentally friendly trees in each four-year agricultural cycle across several locations in various regions of the Kingdom.

Ali Othman Alrakban Foundation (AORF) for Community Services

Companies that pursue social and environmental goals along with financial objectives are called “social enterprises”. Public enthusiasm for such social business models has grown significantly. However, most companies continue to operate in the same old ways, focusing solely on maximizing profits and shareholder value, regardless of the social and environmental consequences of their actions. We decided to start in the opposite direction. Despite having a clear vision and strategy for launching our for-profit business, we decided to start practicing non-profit activities and participate in finding solutions to some of the environmental and social problems in our country before launching our for-profit business. We will continue to strive together to achieve social and environmental goals, alongside financial objectives, as we launch our commercial activities. The Ali Othman Alrakban Foundation for Community Service (AORF) was established in 2021 to contribute to improving the quality of life in the cities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Quality of life is one of the most important goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The foundation's activities will begin in the Riyadh region, supporting the municipality's efforts to revive the concept of the social role of mosques and their role as meeting points and interaction between neighborhood residents. This will be achieved by planting trees and rehabilitating the surrounding spaces, enabling them to become neighborhood centers and connect residents to each other and to their city. The foundation will then expand to include other regions in the Kingdom.

The foundation aims to contribute to improving physical and mental health, beautifying the environment through planting trees, and creating parks to increase the per capita share of green space in Saudi cities. It will also activate its role with mosques as neighborhood centers, contributing to raising the level of urban design and the environment, and contributing to improving health and social interaction without obstacles. This will enhance the livability of these neighborhoods, making neighborhood centers ideal places for social engagement, recreation, sports, entertainment, and culture, and aiming to improve the lifestyles of neighborhood residents.

DIYAFATNA Hotel Services Company

Developing the tourism sector in the Kingdom is one of the most important objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, directly included among its 91 strategic objectives. This is due to its significant role in improving quality of life and its role as the most prominent non-oil sector, whose potential has been unlocked by the Vision after years of underutilization.

The Ministry of Tourism's strategy aims to increase the tourism sector's contribution to the gross domestic product from 3% to 10%, and to increase its workforce capacity to provide 1.6 million job opportunities, representing 10% of the total workforce.

In the strategic objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, the tourism sector contributes to achieving 28 of the 91 strategic objectives, demonstrating the significant relative importance of the tourism sector in Saudi Vision 2030. The objectives to which the domestic tourism sector contributes include instilling national principles and values, strengthening national belonging, preserving and promoting the Kingdom's Islamic, Arab, and National heritage, improving the quality of services provided in Saudi cities, enhancing the urban landscape, reducing various types of pollution, protecting the environment from natural hazards, protecting and preparing natural areas such as beaches, islands, and nature reserves, developing and diversifying entertainment opportunities to meet the needs of the population, and developing Saudi contributions to arts and culture.

The sector also contributes to increasing the contribution of productive families to the economy and attracting global talent. It also enhances government revenues from its assets, increases revenues, and promotes corporate commitment to economic sustainability.

Therefore, DIYAFATNA Hotel Services Company was established to invest in providing distinguished domestic tourism options and contribute to attracting tourists from outside the Kingdom to experience our hospitality more closely. It will also work on the concept of "lifestyle," focusing on suitable options and offers available to tourists from within and outside the Kingdom. This includes recreational activities within and outside our resorts, and exploring heritage, culture, and the arts, as these are important elements that contribute to the vitality and brilliance of society and provide guests with a closer understanding of it. It will also be a fertile ground for practicing various sporting activities, depending on the environment in which our resorts will be located, as these activities have a direct impact on many aspects, most notably health, the economy, athletic performance, and social cohesion. Recreation will play a key role, encompassing various activities, from food and beverage services to shopping options. We also do not neglect the role of social participation and enhancing interaction among community members at our sites.

Through social and community participation, opportunities are created for individuals to communicate and feel a sense of belonging, which helps reduce social isolation and strengthen community bonds. The primary objectives are to provide an integrated recreational and entertainment environment for Saudi and resident families, offering options in heritage, culture, and the arts. We also aim to provide options for practicing various sports activities, based on the natural environment in which our projects will be built, whether marine, desert, or mountain sports, given their direct impact on many aspects, most notably health, the economy, athletic performance, and social cohesion. The objectives will also include various recreational activities, including food and beverage services, and promoting Saudi culinary options. Our projects will be a fertile ground for social engagement and foster interaction among community members to foster a sense of belonging, helping to reduce social isolation and strengthen community bonds.

DIYAFATNA (Our hospitality ) stems from our authenticity and heritage, from which we derive our values. We draw our determination from the efforts of our sons and daughters, and with all our hospitality we offer the best of our culture.
