Developing the tourism sector in the Kingdom is one of the most important objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, directly included among its 91 strategic objectives. This is due to its significant role in improving quality of life and its role as the most prominent non-oil sector, whose potential has been unlocked by the Vision after years of underutilization.

The Ministry of Tourism's strategy aims to increase the tourism sector's contribution to the gross domestic product from 3% to 10%, and to increase its workforce capacity to provide 1.6 million job opportunities, representing 10% of the total workforce.

In the strategic objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, the tourism sector contributes to achieving 28 of the 91 strategic objectives, demonstrating the significant relative importance of the tourism sector in Saudi Vision 2030. The objectives to which the domestic tourism sector contributes include instilling national principles and values, strengthening national belonging, preserving and promoting the Kingdom's Islamic, Arab, and National heritage, improving the quality of services provided in Saudi cities, enhancing the urban landscape, reducing various types of pollution, protecting the environment from natural hazards, protecting and preparing natural areas such as beaches, islands, and nature reserves, developing and diversifying entertainment opportunities to meet the needs of the population, and developing Saudi contributions to arts and culture.

The sector also contributes to increasing the contribution of productive families to the economy and attracting global talent. It also enhances government revenues from its assets, increases revenues, and promotes corporate commitment to economic sustainability.

Therefore, DIYAFATNA Hotel Services Company was established to invest in providing distinguished domestic tourism options and contribute to attracting tourists from outside the Kingdom to experience our hospitality more closely. It will also work on the concept of "lifestyle," focusing on suitable options and offers available to tourists from within and outside the Kingdom. This includes recreational activities within and outside our resorts, and exploring heritage, culture, and the arts, as these are important elements that contribute to the vitality and brilliance of society and provide guests with a closer understanding of it. It will also be a fertile ground for practicing various sporting activities, depending on the environment in which our resorts will be located, as these activities have a direct impact on many aspects, most notably health, the economy, athletic performance, and social cohesion. Recreation will play a key role, encompassing various activities, from food and beverage services to shopping options. We also do not neglect the role of social participation and enhancing interaction among community members at our sites.

Through social and community participation, opportunities are created for individuals to communicate and feel a sense of belonging, which helps reduce social isolation and strengthen community bonds. The primary objectives are to provide an integrated recreational and entertainment environment for Saudi and resident families, offering options in heritage, culture, and the arts. We also aim to provide options for practicing various sports activities, based on the natural environment in which our projects will be built, whether marine, desert, or mountain sports, given their direct impact on many aspects, most notably health, the economy, athletic performance, and social cohesion. The objectives will also include various recreational activities, including food and beverage services, and promoting Saudi culinary options. Our projects will be a fertile ground for social engagement and foster interaction among community members to foster a sense of belonging, helping to reduce social isolation and strengthen community bonds.
